<p>A dynamic and challenging role where you will work closely with the Head of Group Compliance.  A wide ranging role encompassing all compliance functions with the exception of client monies.</p>
<p>Remit;</p>
<ul>
<li>Perform monitoring work in accordance with the company’s monitoring programme to demonstrate that business is being conducted in compliance with regulatory requirements</li>
<li>Assisting the Compliance Officer in ensuring the Company compliance policies and procedures are kept up to date</li>
<li>Undertake Audits as and when required</li>
<li>Support the compliance officer in ensuring that Treating Customers Fairly principles guidelines and initiatives are adhered to</li>
<li>Support in the preparation of compliance management information</li>
<li>Carry out routine compliance duties as required, in a prompt and efficient manner</li>
<li>Contribute to and carry out varied compliance projects and assignments as required</li>
<li>Undertake any other tasks allocated by the Compliance Officer</li>
</ul>
<p>The person;</p>
<ul>
<li>You must be educated to degree level</li>
<li>Have good knowledge of FCA Sourcebook, in particular  SYSC &amp; COBS</li>
<li>Working knowledge of EU &amp; UK legislation relating to Compliance</li>
<li>Working knowledge of anti-money laundering laws and the JMLSG guidance notes</li>
<li>Previous monitoring experience including call monitoring</li>
<li>Strong analytical skills and good attention to detail</li>
<li>Good level of computer literacy</li>
<li>Excellent report writing skills</li>
<li>Good communication skills</li>
</ul>

<p>They are currently looking to recruit an Office Manager to support the Managing Director.  The practice is based near Waterloo Station. </p>
<p>Duties will include: diary management, responding to emails on the Director’s behalf and managing his email, handling incoming calls, assisting with accounts, payroll, travel arrangements, producing presentations, researching and collating information for competitions, etc.</p>
<p>The successful candidate needs to have good initiative, be organised, with a down to earth attitude and happy working alone as well as part of a team. This is an exciting time to join the company and there are opportunities to learn and take on a wider range of responsibility.  This is an important role that is central to the successful running of the practice.</p>
<p>Preferably the applicant would have several years Office Manager experience in an Architectural, Engineering or Design  practice and should be able to use Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and Adobe CS3 (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).</p>

Working within modern offices in the City of London, the ideal candidate will be proactive and professional, highly organised, able to work with little direct supervision, have good attention to detail and excellent communication/interpersonal skills.  This is an exciting opportunity for a keen and conscientious individual to work in a busy and interesting international environment.</p>
<p>Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:</p>
<ul>
<li>Provide administrative support to the two directors and to the chairman.</li>
<li>Manage meeting arrangements, including hotel negotiations, registration of meeting participants, meeting facilities and catering</li>
<li>Provide administrative support for meetings and related conferences and events, including compiling, formatting, posting and distributing materials, receiving, assisting in the preparation of presentations and developing and maintaining files</li>

<p>All Trainee Account Managers are trained from the bottom up. Initially you will be trained on admin, the database and how to handle basic calls during which time you will also be trained on all aspects of SAP. The role will then move on to a Resourcing role where you will be contacting candidates regarding current positions that we have. Within this position you will be technically screening candidates and interviewing the candidate to attain their motivations and soft skills. During this time you will be expected to obtain leads and to research the market in order to find new clients. Within 4 weeks the role will then move on to that of a Junior Account Manager where you will be cold calling clients to build ongoing successful relationships.</p>
<p>This truly is a fantastic opportunity for those looking for long term promotion.</p>
<p>The successful candidate MUST have B2B Sales Experience, a clear and confident telephone manner, a competitive nature, a hard working ethic and good sense of humour. An outgoing and professional nature is also a must have!</p>
